Rebecca Judd In J'Aton.

Kinda dying over this.
Bec Judd is the luckiest girl in the world having being spoilt on many occasions by the J'Aton boys with the most gorgeous creations.
This is her leaving the salon to attend the Allan Border Medal at Crown this evening.

I have major loveheart eyes.
I want to be best friends with the J'Aton boys and wear couture every day.

Elle From 'They All Hate Us'.

OUTFIT INSPO.

It's no secret that Elle's signature style involves the perfect pair of denim cut-offs.
She's the queen of finding new and cute ways in styling them to make each outfit look like it's never been worn before.
For someone that always throws on a plain white tee or flowy singlet with a pair of light wash denim shorts,
shots like these make me a tad excited to add a little something extra.

LOVES: The cute beige sweater combo, Maurie & Eve 'Bowie' pants, the crisp white shirt x 2,
the bright aztec emboided bag, her effortless waves and those IM sneakers.

RESOLUTION: To put more effort into looking everyday casual chic, like Elle.

Christine Centenera | Fashion Week.

Miss Christine Centenera snapped during Fashion Week.

I've been waiting to see shots of her, so I could fawn all over her outfit, and this is no exception.
I'd take it as far as saying that this is one of my favourite looks of hers to date.

Dion Lee | AW '12 LFW.

Dion Lee debut presentation at London Fashion Week.

The collection was inspired by the idea of 'breathing'.
Specifically, taking inspiration from the lungs and the way the air moves through things, along with how the body responds to air.
Vein-like structures were created, weaving them together, which gave this almost circulatory element to them.

Can you believe that the shoes are by Kanye West and the entire collection styled by Christine Centenera?
Just when I thought that the West x Centenera teaming was everything.

Our Australian designers are doing so well overseas. So proud!

Dion Lee II Wants.

DION LEE II 'Ceremony' shift dress in flesh.

For the first time in a long time, I've actually found items of clothes that I'm so in love with and want so badly to be hanging in my wardrobe.
Normally I go through each season feeling semi-depressed that there's just not many things that pull at my heart strings.
Of course it all comes at a time when I'm in intense saving mode for my NY trip mid year.
BOO.

You can pick up this lust-worthy Dion Lee piece at Desordre.
Shannon looks absolutely perfect in it, which makes it so much harder.

OUTFIT PERFECTION.
The only thing I'd change is probably the shoes. Although, she pulls them off really well.
Love seeing her in these Isabel Marant sequined pants once again and that Balmain goat fur, wow - the elbow detail is stunning.

Lara Bingle TV.

This should happen way more often.
Just sayin'.

Lara Bingle running through her outfits for Harper's Bazaar at Australian Fashion Week 2010.
These two looks are my absolute fave picks. I'm so obsessed with the Proenza skirt and the Ellery jacket still.
I've actually watched these videos way too many times to count.

Introducing | STYLE SPOT.

I'd like to share with you all a new and exciting Q&A project that I've been working on.
It's something that I've wanted to do since beginning my blog and a feature that I hope on making a regular addition.
So, opening my first ever edition, is one of my very favourite bloggers, Sunniva from Style Spot...

Sunniva is a 22 year old blogger from Norway, who is fashion lover on a never-ending hunt for
inspiration, with a dream of making it big in the fashion magazine world.

Scrolling through Style Spot, I'm always thoroughly inspired and constantly giggling at how similar Sunniva and I are with each and every post.
Now after reading her answers below, my suspicions have been validated, we're definately twins from way across the globe.
I promise that you'll be as smitten as I am.

Name. Age. Location.
My name is Sunniva. I am 22 years old, and I come from a city in Norway called Trondheim.

Tell us a little about yourself... What do you do when you're not blogging? What do you do for work to help satisfy your fashion cravings?
When I'm not blogging, I study English literature, politics and art history. I am such a culture junkie, wanting learn about and absorb everything and anything that has to do with fashion, music, art, literature, film, etc. I also help out as a styling assistant for a wonderful local stylist. I love being able to help her as it is such a creative, dynamic and exciting environment to be apart of.

What inspires your blog and the content that makes up each post?
I have always looked at blogging as a possibility to play around with the idea of having my very own fashion magazine when I decide everything. (Me too!) It is a creative outlet which has turned out to be essential. I am always on the hunt for great inspiration, and the content of my blog is a result of this determined and never-ending hunt. I find content in magazines and other blogs, but mostly I find it at The Fashion Spot. Everything you need is there, it is like a goldmine for fashion lovers.

Who is your favourite blogger at the moment?
I don't really read that many blogs actually. I'm quite picky when it comes to who I follow on a daily basis as I, in a sense, have quite high demands as there are so many blogs out there. However, when that is said, I remain extremely faithful to those I like, such as Style by KlingAngelica BlickAfter DRK, and the Fahrman sisters, to name a few. And choosing a favourite is like choosing a favourite child. Well, maybe not that extreme. However, I do have a slight obsession with Lucy William's blog, Fashion Me Now, at the moment. Her style is amazing, and when she doesn't post pictures of her outfits, she always posts wonderful and inspiring photo's from editorials, other blogs, etc. I really wish that she would post more often!

What does your every day go-to outfit consist of?
I live by the saying "Less is more", and my aim is to have a wardrobe with timeless pieces that can be used for endless combinations. My go-to outfit consists of a loose slightly sheer, white classic shirt, which I team up with a pair of dark skinny jeans. Sometimes I wear a blazer (I have way too many blazers!) or a leather jacket with it. White Converse shoes are on my feet if it's a more laidback day, or if it calls for a 'dressier' outfit, I put on my black Acne Pistol boots or classic black heels. Also, I wear my Bjorg necklace, which I got from my parents for Christmas, every day. It has the inscription "I can do anything", and it keeps me motivated and reminds me to be brave and follow my dreams.

If money were never an issue, which labels would you fill your wardrobe with?
Oh my, where to begin? It is difficult to say exactly which labels I would go for, as I am much more drawn to individual pieces rather than the label. However, first, I would build myself an enormous walk-in closet like the one Big builds for Carrie in SATC 2. Then, I'd fill it up with labels such as Isabel Marant, Celine, Alexander Wang, Givenchy, Lanvin, Stella McCartney, The Row, Rag & Bone, YSL, IRO, Chloe, Acne, Alexander McQueen, Burberry Prorsum, Elie Saab, Balmain (the list is never-ending!) Also, I'd want to fill it with stunning pieces from Zara, H&M Trend, Top Shop, All Saints, and my newest favourite, Maurie & Eve (thanks to you, Carolyn!) And lots and lots of jewellery by Pamela Love and Bjorg.

Who influences your style?
I get extremely influenced by people I see on the street or in streetstyle blogs. Also, I have this huge fascination for French women and their effortlessly chic and elegant style, which influences me greatly. Models, such as Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Anja Rubik, also influence me with the everyday style as they often wear outfits that consist of excellent basics, but with that extra little twist. I also turn a lot towards my famous five list: Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Sienna Miller, Nicole Richie and Kate Bosworth. (They are all in my top five too!)

Who is your current celebrity 'girl crush'?
I think anyone who's been reading Style Spot recently, can easily guess who my current celebrity 'girl crush' is. Lately, I have been so hooked on Miranda Kerr's personal style. She has so many amazing and versatile pieces, and I am so lusting after her burgundy Celine bag. I also have to mention Sienna Miller. Ever since she appeared on the radar, I have been obsessed with her style. Even though I don't like it as much now as I used to (oh, the Jude-days!), I can never let go of my fascination for her. She seems like such a wonderful and fun person, and I am so happy she's having a baby!

What is your ultimate dream job?
It is kind of scary saying it out loud, but my dream job is eventually becoming an editor-in-chief for a fashion magazine, or a magazine revolving around culture. I know that it is a very ambitious dream, but it is what I've always pictured myself as. If that doesn't work out, I have a back-up dream job haha. I have always had this huge dream of opening my own little shop where I sell unique and edgy pieces of interior, clothing and jewellery. We'll see what the future brings. (Now this is where it became a little surreal. We have the exact same career outlook. In every sense).

What is your biggest dream right now?
My biggest dream right now is to move to London in September to study Fashion Journalism. Also, I am dreaming of being able to travel a lot more in the near future. I have travelled around the world quite a lot the last three years, but I still feel like there is so much more to see and experience. Once you are bitten by the travel bug, there is no going back!

Your top 3 inspirational blogs that you follow are:
Elin Kling and her blog 'Style by Kling' is the blog that I have followed the longest. Being able to take part as a reader in her blooming and wonderful career from the beginning has been so inspiring. Also, Elin seems like such a fun, sweet and down to earth person - I believe that is a big part of why she's achieved what she's achieved. Also, I never get tired of seeing her outfits. She has such an amazing sense of style!

Another blog that I find very inspiring is Angelica Blick's blog. I visit it several time a day as she posts so often. Angelica is that kind of girl I think everyone wants to be. She has such an interesting and chic style, and her hair and make-up is always perfect. I think she must be my favourite style blogger as I feel, after visiting her blog, that I have learnt new combinations that I want to try out myself with my own little twist to it.

And last, but not least, I am so inspired by Rich Girls (your blog is so lovely, Carolyn!). I love that every image you post seems to be so well thought out, and I really like how you're promoting Australian fashion. I find that inspiration blogs (meaning blogs that mainly post editorials, pictures of celebrities, lookbooks, etc. rather than outfit posts) are slightly underrated. It is easier to gain recognition as an "outfit blogger", but I think it is just as inspiring to produce a great inspirational blog. When you are confident in your taste and true to yourself, which I believe that you are, the result is nothing but immaculate and unique; two words that I feel describes your blog perfectly.

Thank you once again to the beautiful Sunniva for making this a really amazing experience!

PS. My aim is to share with you all the many wonderful bloggers that I find to be a great inspiration to me.
So what are your thoughts, lovelies? Should this Q&A should be a regular feature?

♥♥♥
